Jim Morrison Brings Bad Luck From The Grave
PR Web: Graveside Photo of Jim Morrison’s Ghost Still Haunts Rock Fan
It has been over 4 years since Hollywood resident and Rock and Roll Historian Brett Meisner first noticed a strange image in the background of a photo taken of him at the gravesite of former Doors’ front man Jim Morrison at the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France.
Since revealing the photo to the press, Mr. Meisner has suffered a turn of bad luck. He’s gotten divorced, lost clients and has Doors fans show up at his door. That really is a curse!

Dear Brett,
Hi, funny thing, I was sitting here writing tonight and all of a sudden out of nowhere, the title of one of The Doors albums went rifling through my head. I couldn’t figure out why. All i saw in my head were the words Soft Parade. I couldn’t figure out why all of a sudden that rifled out of nowhere through my head. It is close to Jim’s death date which is on the 3rd of July. I went in to websites on Morrison to find out why I would have thought about that particular title and spotted the article and picture of you standing at his gravesite. Something similiar happened to me and my family on Christmas Eve 2004. I lost my parents one year apart, my mom in 2002, my father in 2003. We all got together and took a photo of all of us about 26 people including grand kids and all of us kids and their spouses. In the background of the photo is a huge mirror in my sisters house. While my brother in law was printing up all the pictures for all of us to have he noticed something strange, it was a perfect outline of my mom and dad in the mirror like they were in the photo with all of us. Everybody noticed it, it is clearly my mom and dad. I believe it was a sign to us from them that they are okay, and they are with us. I also believe that since you are in the proffesion that you are in that Jim just wants you to know that his soul and all the other rock stars that gave us their gifted talents are still with us, maybe he was trying to tell you thank you for visiting him at his gravesite. Having bad luck happens to everybody. Jim was not a bad guy, he had a good heart. I believe that like Kurt Cobain, all he wanted was for somebody to tell him that they loved him and cared about him and that they were blessed that he was part of their life. Unfortunately none of that happened with both Jim and Kurt until after they were both rock stars and they were told they were loved for all the wrong reasons just because they were rock stars. They didn’t care about fame or wealth, they wanted someone to care, that did not happen for them until after they had passed on. I hope you don’t think that I’m strange I had to share this with you. As far as your bad luck??? I have 5 other siblings in my family, I became hooked on drugs and alcohol after my parents died and I almost died twice from overdoses. I had to go to rehab, none of my siblings had the rotton luck that I had after my parent’s death. I am 2 years clean now of both drugs and alcohol. I’m sure your bad luck will subside, I don’t think any of it has to do with Jim Morrisons ghost showing up in a picture at his gravesite as I just told you about my parents and the photo taken of our family with them in the background. Spirits and ghosts are all around us, it’s how we handle that that makes a difference. God Bless you and remember Jim, that he had a good heart. He isn’t out to hurt you or anybody, he just wants us to know that he’s still alive and just because he is not here physically with us doesn’t mean that he is not here in spirit. How else do you explain all the awesome musicians that were inspired by him that we have today. All the great bands. Music is a huge gift that I cherish and I thank God for everyday I know for a fact that you are the same way with the proffesion that you are in. Take care, it’s all good. Music is our friend until the end, and forever after. It never dies.
Take care,
Jenny
