The former stars of 1980s action series THE A-TEAM will reunite for a reality TV programme, in which they will attempt to contact their deceased co-star GEORGE PEPPARD. Actors Dirk Benedict, Mr T and Dwight Schultz will appear on a special edition of British paranormal show MOST HAUNTED later this year (07), when they will try to communicate with their old friend, who passed away from pneumonia in 1994.

I pity the fool who disturbs George Peppard’s rest. Would you want Hannibal Smith haunting you for all eternity?

NASA says a massive solar storm is coming, second only to the massive 1958 solar maximum

That was a solar maximum. The Space Age was just beginning: Sputnik was launched in Oct. 1957 and Explorer 1 (the first US satellite) in Jan. 1958. In 1958 you couldn’t tell that a solar storm was underway by looking at the bars on your cell phone; cell phones didn’t exist. Even so, people knew something big was happening when Northern Lights were sighted three times in Mexico. A similar maximum now would be noticed by its effect on cell phones, GPS, weather satellites and many other modern technologies.

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing the northern lights!

Reuters => Skunk ape tracker seeks to protect the creature

North America’s Pacific Northwest has Bigfoot. The Himalaya region of Nepal and Tibet has the Yeti.

But in Florida’s swamps, Dave Shealy is on the lookout for the skunk ape, hoping to prove the smelly creature does actually exist and win it government protection.

I’ve always wondered if the Skunk Ape smells so bad because he’s really hairy and living in a hot, humid environment.

They were at a secluded spot more than 1,000ft up a mountain when they spotted the “creature”.
“It just came out of the blue,” said the father of two. “The water was incredibly peaceful and then this huge thing appeared, diving and thrashing around.”
He said it appeared to be 50ft long, when compared to boats nearby. “I snatched the binoculars from my wife and gasped when I got a better look. I could see this huge dark thing moving in the water. It had a head like a labrador, only much, much bigger.”

I think it is much more credible to believe that, if Nessie exists, there must be other, related creatures living in other lakes in the area. With the British Isles being (relatively) small, one could be in any lake in the kingdom.
