KHON2 => UFO’s seen over South Shore sky

It’s hard to draw a surfer’s attention away from the next wave, but whatever was in the southwest sky Friday evening around 6:20 p.m. drew a crowd along Kewalo Basin and Ala Moana Beach Park.

Honolulu resident Peter Hollingworth described what he and many others saw as two lights circling in the sky, about 45 degrees above the horizon.

Video of one of the lights was recorded from the KHON 2 SkyCam.

Hawaii is an interesting place when it comes to the paranormal. It’s said that Hawaii (particularly the Big Island) is a planetary crossroads to another world. You can learn about that in the book “The Secrets & Mysteries of Hawaii” by Pila of Hawaii.

It’s an interesting read. I picked up a copy of a Spottings expedition to the Big Island several years ago when we were looking for ghosts in ancient lava burial grounds/battlefields.

He said the ‘UFO’ was flying round in a rectangular pattern and turning sharply, almost at right angles as it went round the King George reservoir area of Enfield.

Here’s an interesting article about EVP, the phenomena of recording mysterious and possibly ghostly sounds and voices electronically.

Some researchers speculate that its origins rest in psychokenisis or the voices of spirits. Psychokenisis connotes the ability to move objects with your mind. It concerns the manipulation of matter and energy with just the mind.

Other researchers, more skeptical, point to pareidolia or radio interference. Pareidolia means that you mistakenly perceive images and sounds as being recognizable. A man in the moon, a face in ripples of glass windows, or hearing messages on records played in reverse are keen examples of pareidolia.

The La Feria-based volunteer ghost hunting group, along with some members of a similar team from Corpus Christi, are slated to convene in Rio Grande City on Friday to check out stories that La Borde House, the city’s historic hotel, is haunted.

But if you need them to check on a ghoul or spirit while they’re in the neighborhood, said group founder Mary Catherine Zimmerer, they’ll be happy to.

Zimmerer, 33, has a day job as a medical technician, but she and six others spend free time investigating reports of hauntings in homes and public buildings.

Pimps? Really? They’re trivializing the good name of professional ghost hunters with an acronym like that.

Listening to the audio, I personally think the people making this video were too stoned to have committed such as effective hoax. Therefore, it must be real…?

Police switchboards lit up in Phoenix last night almost exactly ten years after the famous Phoenix Lights incident.

Back then it may have been UFOs, but this time it was something more sinister. Yes, it’s taken the shadow government 10 years to finally be able to launch a “re-creation” of the famous Phoenix Lights. This time, they were ready and waiting with their “answer”.

This is a fascinating video, very reminiscent of the Taiwanese ghost videos I’ve mentioned earlier. I’m not sure that this video is convincing enough to make me believe, though.
