I like BFRO, but sometimes I wish their reporting was a little more objective. To say that they are pretty sure it isn’t a fake, and then to go on and identify it as Gigantopithicus is just irresponsible speculation.
Here’s another example of someone who doesn’t know how to work a camera This is a purported bigfoot/sasquuatch video from Sonoma County, California.
This BFRO report shows photographs of a potential new sasquatch sighting. The photos were taken in an inhospital and remote area of Washington on Nov 17th.
According to the report, the images on their site are unmanipulated.
For what it is worth (darn near nothing, I’d say), I downloaded the “originals” and, if the EXIF info is untampered with, the photos were taken 11/17 and about 2:30 in the afternoon. If that’s the case, Mr. Bigfoot is facing a westerly direction towards the setting sun. The photos were taken about 15 seconds apart and show no obvious signs of manipulation in Photoshop.
The camera used is a 1.2 megapixel Sony Cybershot.
Because of the wording of the permission granted by the photographer, I’m not reposting the image to this blog. Check out the BFRO report for more details.
It’s far to nebulous to call this picture a sasquatch, but it does appear to be an figure moving from one picture to the next. Presumably there is no third picture.
These would be the times when I’d be screaming for a telephoto lens! The whole mystery could have been solved.
Although there’s nothing (yet) that says if this photo is authentic or a fake, I can’t hep being reminded of the advanced publicity clips on Peter Jackson’s King Kong where Kong mellows out by watching a sunset.
