Bosnian Pyramid
MSNBC: Egyptian backs Bosnian Pyramid Claim
As reported in an earlier Spotting, an amateur archaeologist claims to have discovered an ancient pyramid in Bosnia.
Generally, most experts claim that Europeans of that era were incapable of building anything as complex as a pyramid. (Of course, they still really haven’t figured out how the Eygptians built the great pyramids, either.)
Now, one of the Egyptian experts sent to examine the find indicates that he thinks the structure is man-made.
We’ll keep a watch on this story for further developments.

Raystown Ray?
Raystown Ray
Never heard of Raystown Ray? Join the club, but according to this website, Raystown Ray is “Pennsylvania’s Lochness Monster”
For decades there have been many sightings of a creature in Huntingdon County’s Raystown Lake. Old photos show large shadowy figures just below the surface, boaters describing sudden water turbulence and strange appearances of a large water creature, Raystown Ray.
In February of this year, Raystown Ray was photographed for the first time. The Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau plans to release several additional photos in the visitor’s center.

Ghost Studies
BBC NEWS: Ghostly syllabus for new degree:
Students are to investigate the existence of ghosts as part of a degree course looking at people’s experience of the paranormal.
Coventry University is offering the chance to look into haunted houses, extra-sensory perception and “the survival of bodily death”.
It’s about time somebody started a serious research project into ghostly phenomena. There’s too many quacks and charlatans clouding the issue.

666 or 06/06/2006? Can you tell the difference?
London Times Online: Mothers expect Damien on 6/6/06
Seriously… these people shouldn’t be having children. Anybody who thinks their child might be the antichrist just because it’s born on 6/6/2006 could do those poor children a serious harm.
FOR one group of expectant mothers, their due date holds an extra dimension of dread. The prospect of giving birth on June 6, 6/6/06, has prompted talk of spawning devil children on Armageddon.

Pocahontas Parkway, Haunted Highway?
Sydney Morning Herald: Ghosts dead against toll road
Australian firm Transurban announced the purchase of the Pocahontas Parkway in Richmond, Virginia.
Why is that of interest to Spottings? Well, it just so happens that the Pocahontas Parkway is one of the most haunted highways in the United States.
Torch wielding, headless (and otherwise) ghosts of Algonquian natives have been frequently seen ever since the road opened.

The tourist, who wished to remain anonymous, only realised the presence of the object a day later, when he was checking out.

Korean Scientists Develop Female Android
The Korea Times : Korean Scientists Develop Female Android
The Koreans have developed a female “android” called “EveR-1″. Looking just like a Korean female in her 20′s, we can only imagine this will be extremely popular in Japan where societal conditions are making it ever-more-difficult for men to get wives. At this point, it’s doubtful that it will reverse the ever-declining birthrate, thought.
While it might be an advance for lonely hearts, the potential for governmental abuse is staggering. In their quest for world domination, supposedly “democratic” governments could replace all their population with androids programmed to vote for the governments’ hand-picked candidates.
Where would that leave us, the real flesh-and-blood people?
